Championing for Children's Right to Be Safe
Join us at the Cafe Escadrille as we come together in support of every child's right to live free from sexual abuse and to recognize April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month and learn about the work of The Mama Bear Effect to protect children.
Announcing our Key Note Speaker: Jim Desrosiers
James (Jim) Desrosiers is President & Founder of GROWTHco, a talent and organizational development company.
Jim has a strong passion for helping children. Once labeled “at-risk” himself, he has first-hand experience with surviving a challenging childhood involving drug addiction and violence in the home. Crediting the United States Air Force, Jim leveraged the military to learn how to succeed and has since dedicated his life to helping others reach their ultimate potential and happiness. Jim wrote the book, Young People’s Guide to Goal Setting, and implemented his Student Success program into 250+ nonprofit programs and schools nationwide, totaling over 118,000 young people
